Qualification
·
Min. bachelor’s degree
in Mechanical Engineer
·
Have at least 5 years
applicable experience in the design of offshore oil and gas production
platforms.
·
Must have a working
knowledge of the codes and standards and must have the principal engineer
responsible for the design of more than one other project with similar process
systems and must be experienced in the use of computer programs applicable to
such designs.
·
Preferably understand
Post Construction Code (i.e. ASME PCC-2, API 579-1 / ASME FFS-1, NBIC R-stamp)
·
Understand in Design,
Fabrication and installation / erection of Pressure Vessel, STHE and Tank
·
Preferably able to
operate some of the following Design Software
·
Pressure Vessel design
software (PV Elite, Compress)
·
Shell & Tube Heat
Exchanger design software (Aspentech EDR)
·
Structural design
software (STAAD PRO)
·
Tank Design Software (COADE
Tank)
·
Having good technical
knowledge infinite element analysis is also preferred
