Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in law major from reputable university (Master's Degree is an added value)
  • Minimum  5 years of proven professional experience in a major law firm handling construction related cases, or as an in-house legal counsel or officer in a Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Company specializing in oil and gas, and energy sector or in Company with similar business activities
  • Understand the stages of an EPC project starting from the proposal phase until completion of a project
  • Willing to travel to project sites located in various region in Indonesia or overseas
  • Good comprehension on applicable rules and regulation related to procurement of goods and services, among others: PTK 007 SKK Migas, SK-043 & SK A-5001 Pertamina, GR No. 16/2018 (the GR on Procurement of Goods and Service)
  • Experience in utiliing and implementing international standard form of construction contract like the FIDIC format contract, or ENAA format contract
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to adapt to a new culture and environment effectively
  • Able to work in a team, highly initiative, and well-mannered and behavior
  • Able to manage multiple individual task under challenging circumstances also a good team player
  • Proficient in English

Responsibility

  • Drafting  commercial agreements for Project and other commercial activities
  • Review and prepare contract clarification durring bidding stage of a Project
  • Commercial negotiation with Project Owner, Vendor, Subcontractor, and other related stakeholders
  • Analyze risk item based on information provided in contract document 
  • Provide legal advice to Project Team and Board of Director regarding potential contractial risk in pre-execution phase of Project
  • Provide legal advice to Project Management Team and/or Board of Director to various legal matters and issues that occur during project execution
  • Provisions of Project Insurance necessary for Project execution, this shall include maintaining Insurance data starting from bidding phase until project completion
  • Assist the Project Management Team in dealing with claims, either from or addressed to Project Owner, Vendor, Subcontractor, and other related stakeholders that may occur during Project execution.
