Qualification
- Graduate from University with technical (preferable Material/Mechanical Engineering)
- Have experience more than 6 years as piping material engineer
- Having the experience minimum 3 Projects (preferable)
- Experience and knowledge with international standard (ASME, ASTM, API, NACE etc)
- Good computer skills (Ms Office), familiar with database software is advantage
- Have knowledge to perform material selection and failure analysis
- Have good analysis and communication skills
- Self-motivated, smart working, and target oriented
Responsibility
- Material Engineer shall prepare and commence the work that is required by LE in term of input data for Piping Material Specification, Specialty Data Sheet, Wall Thickness & Branch calculation, Requisition, TBE and or other piping engineering document.
- Giving necessary idea and review on design input.
- Preparation of BM and BQ, including calculation, and revision of these in line with the progress in design engineering work.
- Check/review of vendor's document.
- When required, visit the vendor’s premises to attend kickoff meetings, the testing of piping components, or clarification meetings.
- Undertaking work quality control in his/her job area responsibility
