Summary

Qualification

  • Graduate from university with technical background (preferable mechanical/material/naval/marine engineering)
  • Have experience more than 6 years as mechanical stress engineer
  • Having the experience minimum 3 Projects (preferable) Oil & Gas (Onshore/Offshore/Floating Facilities)
  • Experience and knowledge with stress analysis software (CAESAR II)
  • Experience and knowledge with international code and standard (ASME, ASTM, API, EJMA etc)
  • Having experiences to analyze for Piping which connected to both Static (Vessel, Tank, HE, Furnace, etc) and Rotary (Compressor, Pump, AFC, etc)
  • Having experience to select pipe support type according to stress analysis calculation
  • Experience and knowledge with spring support/expansion joint
  • Have good analysis and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, smart working, and target oriented

Responsibility

  • Preparation of critical line list for thermal stress analysis and vibration analysis
  • Prepare and review stress analysis design basis
  • Review of calculation sketch, input data and condition for computer calculation
  • Check the calculation results and provide the instruction as required to piping designer
  • Preparation of Stress Calculation Package
  • Provide Loading data for Piping Information
  • Undertaking work quality control in his/her job area responsibility
  • Check isometric drawing
  • Check pipe support standard dwg
  • Review and checked datasheet related to mechanical stress activity such as expansion joint, spring support, hanger etc.
