Fire Safety Engineer

Summary

Qualification

  • Engineering degree (Chemical, Mechanical, Safety & Risk Engineering is preferable)
  • Proven experience of working as a fire protection engineer preferable in the oil & gas and industrial plant.
  • Design of active & passive fire protection, and fire & gas detection system as per the design philosophies.
  • Review 3D model regarding fire protection system and F&G detection system.
  • Familiar with relevant International and Local Standard and Codes such as NFPA/SNI/API/ BS/IP codes.
  • Familiar with formal safety studies such as HAZOP, LOPA, HAZID, FERA, Dispersion Study and major hazard register is preferred.
  • Familiar with Fire Safety tools (PHAST/PIPENET)
  • Preparing Drawings using AutoCAD is preferable but not essential.
  • Good report writing and presentation skills.
  • Good interpersonal skill, Self-motivating, and the ability to work individually and as a team member to meet project deadlines.
  • Ready to be assigned to site, if required.
  • Minimal 3-5 years Experiences.
